Roger Payne, President, Ocean Alliance, is senior scientist at the World Wildlife Fund and President of the Long-Term Research Institute. Roger Payne's ground-breaking research produced the sensation revelation that humpback whales sing poetically-structured songs. His work has helped elevate human awareness of whale intelligence to a much higher level than in previous years. His research was one of the most important planks in the creation of today's international green environmental movement.
