Q: Do many schools now include Biomusic in their curriculums?

A: This is an emerging field. The BioMusic Program has an immediate goal to create substantive trans-disciplinary materials for educating our kids. 


Q: Do you hope it may become a standard course of study? Could it potentially save music programs in schools, which seem to always cut back on the arts? 

A: When music is treated as a powerful research engine - a way of probing other important knowledge - it changes our perceptions of its importance immediately. Instead of thinking of music as only entertainment, it becomes a 'way of knowing' our world.
